Sorry I haven’t written anything for a while… No excuses, I’m useless!
Anyhoo, it’s springtime now and I thought I’d just post a quick pic of a beech tree. Makes a difference from my previous obsession with Birch trees but the beech is definitely my favourite. There, I’ve said it! Beech trees are the gift that keeps on giving. In every season they are magnificent, spring being no exception. With their young leaves still developing they allow the sunlight to penetrate the verdant chlorophyll soaked canopy making them appear to contain an ethereal power-source. If you encounter these green beacons against a dark background they seem radiate green light within the woodland gloom.
